A new listing comes in. It doesn't concern your entire file.

You don't write often, but when you do, it's to the right half: buyers want listings, sellers want a valuation. Sending the same newsletter to both loses both.

Buyers

What they want: listings. Their budget and area decide whether this week's newsletter is for them.

Sellers

What they want: a valuation, someday. This week's selection means nothing to them.

How you separate them

A tag set at import, a segment for each half: this week's selection goes to buyers, and sellers never receive it.

For two files kept apart, open two workspaces: each has its own list, sender and signature, and you switch between them in the left sidebar. Nothing crosses from one workspace to the other: every row carries its workspace name, and every query starts there.

Two workspaces side by side, one for buyers, the other for sellers: each has its own list, and a wall prevents anything from crossing over.ONE ACCOUNT, TWO WORKSPACESBuyersits list, its signatureSellersits list, its signatureNothing crosses over:every row carries its workspace name.

Budget and area go into the letter

You create the fields you need — budget, area, property type — and they become variables. "Three properties in Ajaccio within your budget" instead of "Our latest listings".

A weekly property selection

  1. Wednesday, you list the three new listings to the assistant.
  2. It drafts the selection; you add photos and links.
  3. You send to the buyers segment. Sellers receive nothing.
  4. Each person's budget and area are written into their own letter.
  5. Clicks tell you which property sparked interest — and whose.
