What 25,000 subscribers cost at Mailcheer
One list of 25,000 people, four sending rhythms. The plan you need depends on how many emails leave each month. Under 3,000 emails a month, you pay nothing. Welcome emails, sequences and API sends count in the same monthly total, and a campaign sent to a segment counts that segment alone.
| Your rhythm | Emails a month | Plan | Price/mo, excl. VAT |
|---|---|---|---|
| One letter a month | 25,000 | Essential | €19 |
| Two letters a month | 50,000 | Pro | €49 |
| One letter a week | 100,000–125,000 | Pro | €49 |
| Two letters a week | 200,000–250,000 | Agency | €129 |

Welcome emails and sequences on the free plan
On the free plan you can switch on a welcome email, a sequence of up to ten messages, each sent after the delay you set, and a follow-up to people who skipped a campaign. Limit any of them to one tag, such as the people who signed up through a given form. If the month's emails run out, an automation pauses, tells you, and starts again on the 1st.
What else changes
- Double opt-in at the door, segments built on behaviorEach form gets a hosted page to share and an HTML snippet for your site, and it can tag everyone who signs up through it. Someone who signs up through a form confirms by email before receiving any campaign or automation. A segment can gather readers who opened or clicked in the last 30 days, people who joined in the last two weeks, or everyone with a given tag, and combine those conditions.
- Your app's emails, in the same accountIf you sell a course or run an app, your receipts and password resets can go out through Mailcheer's REST API: a POST to /api/v1/emails, on every plan. The API refuses any recipient on your suppression list and draws on the same monthly total as your newsletters.
- Your name and your domainA campaign leaves from an address on your own domain, which you verify with DKIM before you can create the sender. Readers see your name, your signature and your unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email, with no Mailcheer logo or mention, from the free plan up.
Moving from Kit
Kit exports subscribers through a bulk action on its Subscribers page and emails you the download link. Before you import that file into Mailcheer, add your unsubscribed addresses to the suppression list. At import, you pick the columns for address, first name and last name, and one tag for the whole file: export one file per Kit segment, give each its tag, and your groups come across.
Frequently asked questions
Does Mailcheer charge by the number of subscribers?
No. Every plan accepts unlimited subscribers, and the price depends on the emails you send each month: 3,000 free, 40,000 for €19, 150,000 for €49, 500,000 for €129, excl. VAT.
What happens if I send more than my plan allows?
Mailcheer checks what's left of the month before a campaign starts. If the send doesn't fit, it tells you before a single email leaves, and you change plan or wait for the 1st. Your bill stays the price of your plan, with no overage fee.
Are automations part of the free plan?
Yes. The welcome email, sequences of up to ten messages and follow-ups to non-openers work on every plan, the free one included. They draw on the same monthly total of emails as your campaigns.
How do I import my subscribers from Kit?
Export them from Kit as a CSV, with a bulk action on the Subscribers page, then import the file in Mailcheer. Mailcheer reads the address, first name and last name, reports duplicates and invalid addresses, and keeps anyone on your suppression list unsubscribed.
