Deliverability

Why your emails reach the inbox or the spam folder: sender reputation, authentication records, and the signals Mailcheer checks before every send.

Deliverability is the ability of your emails to reach the inbox — not the spam folder. It is the single most important factor in email marketing: a beautiful campaign that ends up in spam simply does not exist.

What Gmail, Outlook and others check

When your email arrives, the recipient's mail provider asks three questions:

  1. Who is sending? It verifies the technical authentication of the domain: SPF, DKIM and DMARC. An unauthenticated domain is suspect by default. Since 2024, Gmail and Yahoo require these records for bulk senders.
  2. What is the sender's reputation? The history of the sending domain and IP address: complaint rate ("mark as spam"), bounce rate (non-existent addresses), sending consistency.
  3. Do recipients want this? Engagement signals: opens, clicks, replies, messages moved to trash without reading.
